CEN/TR 12101-4: Installed SHEVS Systems
CEN/TR 12101-4 is a CEN Technical Report giving guidance on the design and installation of smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems (SHEVS) in buildings. It is design guidance, not a product specification: products are not CE/UKCA marked against it.
CEN/TR 12101-4 is a CEN Technical Report in the EN 12101 family covering installed SHEVS (smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems) as built into buildings.
Part of the BS EN 12101 standard family.
Because it is a Technical Report (CEN/TR) rather than a harmonised European Norm (BS EN), it provides recommendations and guidance rather than mandatory product requirements. Products cannot carry a CE or UKCA mark “against EN 12101-4.”
